Extra! Extra! Nala spends night in Doggy Prison due to ignorance of Mother/Father!

Now you might be wondering if you haven't already heard the story about the doggy prison but guess what?? You're going to have to wait until the end of the blog article to find out...
So on my 26th birthday - (Yikes!! that is so scary to say... I'm becoming an old person!!! Where is my youth! Another year and I'll have to start the anti-aging creams!) Anyway, back to my birthday, I have been begging Jeff to go somewhere and make some memories before we decide to have kids especially since he and I both are having baby fever right now. So I just happened to have a 4 day weekend that my boss gave me and so we decided about 4 days prior to my b-day that we are going to go to DisneyWorld. Jeff has always wanted to go and guess what!!! Some hotels range between $26 - $34 a night!!! Considering that we drove because its only 13 hours from our house, we saved a bundle!
I got in free on my b-day and proudly wore my b-day pin. They even gave Jeff one that says "I'm Celebrating" He wore his too. You can see it in the below picture where we nearly died in the Twilight Zone of the Hollywood Tower of Terror.

For lunch we went to the Prime Time 50s Cafe to eat at our "Grandpa and Grandma's house". "Uncle Patrick" was our waiter as we sat to eat with all of our other "cousins" whom we had never met before considering they were all just tourists visiting a them park. But we all pretended. In fact, Uncle Patrick came around to yell at us if he found us with our elbows on the table or if we didn't finish our food. And then of course he would let everyone watch as he shoveled the food in for you. Jeff tried tattling on me and got in trouble for that!

As you can see Jeff and I began coloring our napkins with the crayons our relatives gave us. We wanted to see whose was better but our cousins left before we could ask and then new ones came in which we were not yet accquatined with so we didn't.
Uncle Patrick decided to give me cupcake for my b-day. Sure glad he didn't actually put 26 on there!! (sobb sobb)

Oh! and Uncle Patrick wanted to make sure I had a b-day hat as well!

So all of these people are too busy trying to learn how to wield the force and use lightsabers than the fact that these is a big machine about to laser zap us to dust!!!

I guess I forgot to mention that Jeff and I took a side trip to NYC during our stay...
Gotcha!!! its just a movie set!
Always wondered what it would be like to be bug size and play with Flick! Too bad I lost my husband to a cobweb! Idiot!

Somehow he got out and slid his way down the inside of a broken tree root!

But he apparently upset one of Flick's cousins and well it looks like I'm about to lose him again!

You know how you see these giant playgrounds that look like so much fun but then you realize you're too OLD (sobb sobb) to play in them. Well not here... we jumped at this opportunity. No way Disney is going to kick all of us kids out even when we're 96! So jeff and I climbed the rope nets... Seriously.. way too much fun!

Um, Jeff and another slide!

Ever wondered what the inside of a dog's nose looked like.... well I sure hope Jeff doesn't come out with snot burgers all over him!

This was one of the coolest rides! Its similiar to the buzz lightyear one that makes you feel as you're playing in an arcade game! I loved it!

So after a night at Disney's Hollywood Studios and seeing the screwed up version of Fantasmic (yes it is screwed up. I want Disneyland version only PLEASE!! Bring back PETER PAN!!!) well we made our 9pm reservation at dun dun dun dun... MELTING POT!!!!
Jeff loved it and said he had never been impressed with a restaurant before and he really was with this place! That puts a smile on my face because its my fave!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohh Laa Laa!
Day 2 we arrived at Epcot! By the way we made out inside that thing... What? Put us on a slow moving train in the dark.... what else are newlyweds going to do?

Jeff attempting to pretend he is the Greek God holding the Earth on his back. An almost successful attempt.

Okay so no one ever knows who this guy is ... Except for me of course!!!! Um duh, from Pinocchio. The fox's little companion.. okay I don't know his name but at least I know where he is from!
Um Brer Bear!!!! Too bad Jeff didn't even like Splash Mountain! Yeah I kicked him off the island for that one. I didn't even give him a raft! Seriously! (kerry - did you like that... the island... ha ha .. tell Haley)

Look for the Bear Neccessities!! So for those of you who don't know the infamous story of me and that song... a few years ago I went to Disneyworld for the first time with my sis Denise and my mom and was cranky at some of the parks until we got to the magic kingdom which I love of course!! We were crossing the river on the ferry and I was so excited when it came into view that I started singing this song! I'm kind of known for that thing! So here is me and my muse Baloo!

A bunch of tough guys!!! I love this pic!

Oh.. Jeff and I holding hands!!!!!!!! oh and the Cinderella mice of course!

Visiting China!

Oh and Norway!!! Do you like my braids??? I don't feel very safe from that giant troll with Jeff's facial expression looking like that and a flimsy sword and shield.

Mexico with Donald and awaiting a Fiesta!

Um, Jeff... thats not me!!! France may be a romantic spot but she's taken and so are you!

Viva Las France! Oh did we mention the other detour to all these countries! Yep all in one teensy little day.. well more like 8 hours!

Day 3 - MAGIC KINGDOM!!! Need I say more!

I had Jeff put away for the stunt he pulled in France with the Princess. He deserved to suffer! :)

Hanging with Rafiki--- "he knows the way" ... to have fun! Jeff, slow down.. ice cream doesn't melt that fast. its only 65 degrees out.
Not sure why Jeff had me landed in jail with Zurog! Because did I mention that I beat him at both rides where shooting was involved. He is the video gamer but guess who won both times! Oh yeah, it was me! Its my birthday... well it was!
Sent him back to military training because obviously his wife shoots targets better than he does!

Ahh!! Mickey's house!!
But Minnie's house was playable. So I wasn't all that happy with DisneyWorld's Toon Town. It was basically a non-existent Toon Town! This just proves everything is better at Disneyland! I still love DisneyWorld but you should never deviate from perfection!

Riding around on the Disney RailRoad! and Happy Hour hit us with giggles that would not stop!!! happy hour = No sleep at all for 3 days in the sun and walking around.... YeaH! we became a little crazy!

Ah! look a Prince and Princess!!! and their castle that they can't even enter! Its just for looks! We prefer our little run-down home... Oh who am I kidding!

This one was taken right after sunset! Much better! and the lights are reflecting on the castle making it pink! Yay!

I have to say I love this shot!!!! It was dark but the castle turned out just right with main street on the sides and Roy Disney, Minnie and Jeff perfectly focused! Boy it was great!

Last Day .. #4.. Animal Kingdom in the morning sunlight to blind our eyeballs.. Seriously! and the Tree of Life behind us with hundreds of carved animals making the tree what it is! Amazing!
For example at the base of the tree down below where the roots are here is a giant Ape carved. I made Jeff take this pic because I have one next to it 4 years ago.

Um, we became Honorary bugs today! Flik said so if you don't believe me!

Jeff and Aladar. I hope you all know who that is and from what movie because i love it! If you don't well the movie is Dinosaur! Go figure! So go watch it! because we just got done traveling in time and brought him back with us!

Just around the Riverbend... look who we found!! Oh how corny I am! Tee Hee!
Coda and Kenai... so sweet!

All time classic shot! Isn't it perfect!!! Mickey and us at Mickey's Camp!

Did we tell you that we survived the Yeti when we visited Kilimanjaro! Yeah, he nearly killed us when he ripped the tracks apart and we had to plummett to our death backwards!

So we finished our trip by visiting Downtown Disney. That wasn't part of our scheduled plan although it did allow Jeff and I to go enjoy our Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae from Giraradelli's!!!
Jeff needs some comfort after the trauma we were sure to put Nala in that day!
And here I am trying to make it up to the doggy world how horrible a Mother I was to my poor puppy locked up in Doggy Prison all day and all night!

Well here I am playing at the Lego's store outside with all the Legos they lay out for everyone. And in a moment I will show you what I built.
Yes, here it is. That is my version of Nala (the colored piece in the middle) locked in her doggy dungeon and me with a frownie face just below it! So here is the story. Jeff and I had to check out by noon but we still hadn't been to the Animal Kingdom so we decided to put Nala in the car and put blankets around the windows so the sun wouldn't beat in on her. Well we thought we wouldn't be gone too long.. it wasn't that hot out and anyway when we got back someone had called the Sheriff's dept about a suspicious looking car... because of the blankets. They came by and found the car unlocked (Oops! I did that) with all our luggage including my purse inside... um.. whoops again!
They contacted Jeff's parents to ask about us... thinking something had happened to us and we'd gone missing so they had animal control come take the dog. Well we got back after 5pm and they picked her up at 3pm.
We called and they wouldn't let us pick her up without proof of a rabbies vaccine which of course we don't carry with us and is clear back in Houston. So we had to call the Vet in Houston and have them fax it over. Luckily we were able to get ahold of them that night but guess what? Now they wouldn't release her until 10am the next morning because they close at 5pm that night even though there was a person on duty. It was awful! So we had to stay another night, pay another hotel fee, and Jeff missed a test for school. I had to skip out on some much needed hours at work! We are morons!!!!!! Morons I tell you! I felt so bad because Nala doesn't sleep on cold floors -- ever!!! She has to sleep on blankets even on the carpet.. she won't sleep without her blankie!! This was so bad and she was so traumatized behind bars!!! Oh my poor Puppy!
Anyway, Jeff thought it would be a good idea to punish us and thought this Lego built Transformer might take us out!
But instead decided it was a better idea to let the lego Jaws take us out!

Needless to say, we got Nala the next morning and she went from a traumatizing cage to a traumatizing car which she hates but Jeff sure looks like he is sleeping right through it all.. I took this of him in the car. he looks peaceful even if Nala doesn't.

Bonus: while at Hollywood Studios we went to the Indy stunt show and Jeff became an extra for the movie! Here he is practicing. Watch!
