Birth Control = Nauseation

So it was Wednesday afternoon and on the fridge I noticed I had missed not only my morning dose of today's birth control but also yesterdays... Uh, not good! So what do I do.. exactly what I was told to do... well sort of.. at 2:30pm I took Tuesdays dose and then before I went to bed at 11pm I took that day's dose so I should be all caught up for today (Thursday).

yeah well .. you know... that isn't such a great thing to do.

So last night about 3.5 hours after I took that dose I woke up. And I mean I woke up like wide awake. It wasn't like a slow waking where you feel groggy. I was wide awake. I turned over to look at the clock which showed 2:26 and felt so nauseated. Like a full on I'm about to explode nauseous feeling.

I sit up and that made it worse!!!! I somehow knew that I wasn't going to go right then so I go grab a bowl and head to the living room so as not to wake up Jeff. I turned the tv on and slowly headed back to the couch to sit down. Yep.. that wasn't working.. Maybe time would be all I needed to feel better. But time was not on my side. I grabbed the bowl and immediately heaved everything in it. I'm surprised my stomach didn't come up with it!!!

So I sat back for a minute and turned on "You've Got Mail". I spent the next 5 hours in and out of consciousness still feeling sick. But can I tell you since I was younger that movie with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks has always been my favorite movie to watch when you're ill. Its my sick movie and if I created a sick bag it would be the first thing in the bag even before medicine and other stuff. You can't feel better without this movie.. Its soothing!

Anyway, so I'm supposed to take today's dose at 10am like I usually do but am way too nervous to do so.. I'm thinking I will take it at 2pm and see how I do.. that would be 15 hours after the last one.

Oh, but you know, last night I had some weird, massive, sugar, cravings and was eating nearly everything in site from the Halloween candy basket we have to ice cream, secret chocolate I have hidden from Jeff, chips and salsa... yeah Jeff kept calling me a "fattie" for which my response was I'd run it off the next morning.. so much for running today though... However when he woke up this morning and found me on the couch the first thing I said to him was, "See I told you I'd burn it off... no running needed"

Nice huh! Oh, this is why you shouldn't take things that mess with your body!

Revenge ... Completed!

So unfortunately the first video we had we lost but this video is still absolutely wonderful because I got my revenge. I had Jeff eat 18 wads of gum which consisted of 6 bubblicious (gigantic gum) and 12 sticks of Extra spearmint gum. So did he have to taste the watermelon mixed with spearmint.. you betcha!!! And did it suck for him yes... but you know I had like 3 different flavors I had to place in my mouth so he deserves this!

Re-Creating Childhood Fitness & oh yeah, Jeni is a Moron

So before we get into our childhood recreation... lets discuss my lovely sister, Jeni. I love her to death but sometimes she is an idiot. She gave Jeff and I this really nice camera that she didn't want which happened to be way better than the one I had. But she told me there happened to be a flaw with it. The screen on the camera showed the pics as a bit blurry but she didn't think they would actually come out blurry when the actual picture was printed. So we decided to use the camera this weekend. We shot the below videos but to our surprise when we uploaded them on the computer the video was in fact blurry as you can see below..... We were totally disappointed!!! But then an amazing thing happened.... I couldn't believe my eyes and then Jeff and I both looked at each other and burst out laughing at our stupidity for listening to Jeni.... Jeff had wiped the smudge off the window of the camera and the blurriness went away!!!!

So Jeni--- I love you but you're a moron! ;)

Last weekend Jeff and I went to the park with Nala to have a picnic under a tree and relax together. After eating a very good meal cooked by moi, we decided to walk Nala along a path and found these exercise stops along the way... so we decided to do each one we came across.... but let me bring you to the end video which is my favorite... the Monkey Bars... let me ask you this... Do you think you can do it just as well as a small child can?? Watch and enjoy...

Needless to say, I was sore for a day or so after doing this and I gritted my teeth for the camera to get to the second bar because the first time I did I couldn't get past the first bar... oh it was so sad!! I'm proud to say that on Wednesday Jeff and I did a 2 mile run to the park together and I redid all of these to complete them and made it all the way across the monkey bars.. It was such a relief!!!!! I want muscles like little kids... Adulthood sucks!

Bachelorette at Play

Viva Las Highlander! My bachelorette party had to be the best night I've had karaoking ever! My Princess crew was the best! I had everyone that came dress up as though they were a princess. We had crowns, boas, gloves, beads, plastic earrings and rings. By the way, did we mention that it looked like a bird was killed on stage after we were done. All the boas had left feathers everywhere we touched! So the pic above is my sister Denise who inspired Princess night from a previous girls night out with her friends I had the honor of attending once and let me tell you. Nothing is more fun than a Princess night with the girls!

Want to know how I know? Well, look above or below and you can see. Add a microphone and a tiara to a girl and this is what you get... a bar that is all about the ladies!!! Yep, karaoke and the Princess girls singing to "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and the whole bar stopped to watch! Look, my mom is even up there with me!!! GO MOM!

Oh, and the fun wasn't over for the Princess's there. No no! Round two began with "Friends in Low Places".... Oh yeah and did we mention Jeni's little tiff with Denise in the middle of the song... Yeah she began cat fighting with Denise letting everyone know that her boobs were in Jeni's way of dancing and singing.... Um... too funny!

So on to the highlight of the show... yep that would be me, of course! The Queen Bachelorette. Kristi bought me a sash stating "Bachelorette at Play". Loved it! So here I am singing Martina McBride's "My Baby Loves Me." If you listen closely the bar is yelling for me to take it off... so I did... well.. my boa at least. ;)

And the second highlight of the night is my very talented, sister Denise singing Madonna's "Hanky Panky".. this is a must see!

I went out for a round two to let everyone know what would happen if my fiance decided to cheat on me... singing Carrie Underwood's "Before he Cheats" please welcome Candice....

But the night wasn't all about singing... Steve and Jeni hit the dance floor and we had a few strangers come over to say hi to the group and tell me what a lucky guy Jeff was... but I already knew that... :)

Did I mention that we had on fake eyelashes... Yeah, that was a first for me and I loved them. They had gold and silver sparkles on them.. See..

Bridal Show Gone Revengeful!

My bridal shower was last friday and oh my word, I can't even describe how all of my friends and family, not to mention my mom learned things about me from my fiance who apparently doesn't know me at all either! Yep, Jeff owes me 18 wads of gum in his mouth! I have no mercy either! This is about revenge people. I am claiming revenge on Jeff and apparently my sister, Jeni was reclaiming her revenge towards me for her bridal shower 4 years ago!

So how did this revengeful act get started. Well the rules to the game are as follows:

1. The fiance, Jeff was asked 25 questions about me. Each person asks me a question that Jeff was asked. I have to answer what I thought Jeff answered even if its not right.

2. If I get the answer right I get one of the gift bags full of prizes that girls do before bedtime.

3. If I get the answer wrong, I have to stick a piece of bubbeyum in my mouth and forfeit the prize to the person who asked me the question.

So it seems so simple right, I mean Jeff and I were engaged and he should know a lot about me right? Oh no, I think maybe we should have re-thought this marriage thing because you know he only got 5 answers right... or rather I only got 5 answers right. No matter how you look at it... apparently we didn't know each other. Go figure since its only been 3 months since we met.

So I ended up with 18 wads of gum in my mouth!! Oh wow!! So this pic is of me dry heaving and gagging on the gum. Sugar was seeping down the back of my throat and I was drooling.. It was awful! Hilarious! and really fun!

Let us take a look at some of these questions that got Jeff in a lot of trouble with me!!! Question # 20. "What is the most embarrassing thing Candice has ever done?"

...so of course I answer correctly which by the way Jeff knew because well I told him this story a few weeks earlier. So the correct answer was when I was climbing over a fence at an apartment complex to break into the pool when I was a teenager with some friends and I looked over at Todd and said "Don't look at my fat rolls" and then I fell over the fence and blacked out for a few seconds. When I woke up, I was dangling there upside down with my legs all twisted up and everyone was laughing too hard to come and help me down...

...Now what does Jeff answer with... "when she went running naked through the streets.." WHAT?!?! Not even!!! I told him of a dare when I was 12 that my friend, Alisha and my sister dared me to do in the middle of the night and I barely ran to the end of the driveway and then back.... So now, all of my friends are hearing this at the table along with my mom who is wondering what other teenage secrets I'm harboring.

So then Question # 24 was "What does Candice wear to bed to sleep in?" so I answer just a T-shirt.... and what does my beloved fiance tell my friends and mother.... oh yes he states "NOTHING". So with my living with him while we were stuck in a hurricane... um.. yeah you can only imagine what everyone is thinking... including again my mother... I would definitely say that he is in big trouble!!!

At this point, I had so much gum in my mouth I refused to put any more in so this is Debra shoving it in for me. Revenge I tell you!! That is what I'm seeking!

Prize opening time... what does Taylee win?? Well I shall tell you... she wins one of those Harlequin novels. Look at Taylee's face... she must be reading this before bed every night and don't worry about her because the prize came with chocolate too! :) It reminds me of the episode of Friends when Joey finds one of those books under Rachel's bed and tells her she is reading Porn.... too funny!

Somehow by coincidence only, the only friend I had there that has never worked at Basic Research won the one gift that had our company's products in it.. Charise thought this was way too hilarious.. Look at her...
